Four candidates are seeking election to the two at-large seats on the City Council, which is the only other council race shaping up so far. Incumbent at-large councilor Jesse Adams, a lawyer, faces competition from William H. Dwight, a video store clerk and radio talk show host, Michael Janik, a school aide in the Hampshire Regional School District and M.J. Adams, executive director of the Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Adams was elected to the council in 2009 and is serving in his first term. [David] Narkewicz, who is running for mayor, holds the other at-large seat.
