The Ward 3 Neighborhood Association is circulating the following announcement:
We received the following message from Ward 3 resident Faye Wolfe about a seminar we think will be of interest to residents of our ward. Best of all, it’s going to be held here. She wrote:
“I’m working with Green Northampton to help organize one of their seminars for the Ward 3 neighborhoods. It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 to 11, at the College Church. I would love any help your organization could give us in getting the word out. I live on Phillips Place, in an old, not very well-insulated house, and attended one of these workshops last spring.”
“It was very informative. They presenters are very knowledgeable and good at emphasizing simple, doable, inexpensive ways to winterize your house, and they also provide a lot of info about how to get govt. money to pay for some of the more expensive steps, like insulation. I think a lot of people in our neighborhoods would benefit. The presenters are also very oriented to focusing on what the attendees want to hear and allow plenty of time for specific questions.”
Thanks, Faye Wolfe
